The Berkeley Institute for Islamic Studies values our visitors’ personal information – both as donors and non-donors – and understands the importance of security and trust in relation to such information.

The Berkeley Institute for Islamic Studies (hereinafter referred to as “BLIIS,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) provides this privacy policy which describes the kinds of information it may collects from you or that you may provide when visiting the BLIIS website located at www.bliis.org (our “Website”) or when you donate to BLIIS, as well as its practices for gathering, using and disclosing such information.

BLIIS may work with selected third parties to provide certain features on the Website such as social sharing functions. Donations

If you choose to make a donation through BLIIS.org, we will require some personal information from you which includes your name, contact information, and payment information. BLIIS may contact you to discuss the terms of your donation, and/or to invite you to donate again to the Berkeley Institute for Islamic Studies.

Automatically-Collected Data

BLIIS and its service providers may use various technologies to collect data automatically about your use of our Website.
